Server: (13) Fulltime, Temporary, Seasonal (H-2B) Jobs available 04/01/2025-10/31/2025.

Employer: Quaker Ridge Golf Club, Inc., 146 Griffen Avenue, Scarsdale, NY 10583.

Duties: Servers will be responsible for greeting customers, setting up the dining areas, taking and placing guest orders, carrying trays and plates, serving food and beverages, and cleaning and clearing tables. Will report directly to the Assistant General Manager at Quaker Ridge Golf Club, Inc. Travel is not required.

Optional housing is offered for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, including shift meals, is $300.00 total for the entire employment period (this includes a $100.00 deposit which will be returned at the end of the employment period if room is clean and undamaged). If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck in $75.00 equal installments from employees first four (4) paychecks.

Work Days: Work schedule can vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week (Mon-Sun). Example shifts: 8:00am to 4:00pm, 9:00am to 5:00pm, 10:00am to 6:00pm, 11:00am to 7:00 pm, 12:00pm to 8:00pm, 1:00pm to 9:00pm, or 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary. 40 hours/week at $24.45-$28.00/hour. OT possible at $36.68-$42.00/hour. Employee may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of a discretionary holiday bonus and rate increases.

No education required. 3 of experience in a fine-dining or high-vol. env. at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday.

All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Employer will provide company-specific uniforms and equipment/supplies available to launder at no cost to the worker.

The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
