DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Basic Function of the Job:

Primary interface with Technical Sales Specialist and Customer Service Reps to support continuous improvement projects in sales. These projects include updating existing sales tools such as quote models or costing sheets. Updating and creation of ISO procedures and work instructions. Clean up and organization of costings and open opportunities in Salesforce.

Special Skills: * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * A proven and consistent track record in enabling and supporting technical sales. * Demonstrated problem solving and work prioritization skills. * Ability to adapt to change and new technologies. * Ability to achieve results independently or working with others. * Ability to recommend and implement improvements. * Ability to handle multiple priorities. Handle special assignments promptly and professionally. * Demonstrates and promotes the Coherent Corp. values: Customer First, Honesty and Integrity, Open Communications, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement and Learning, Manage by the 'facts', A Safe, Clean and Orderly workplace * Excellent PC skills and software application (Microsoft Office). * Ability to effectively communicate with foreign subsidiaries. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Flexibility in working hours as required by workload and communication demands. * Quick study of technical concepts related to laser optics and their applications. * Ability to read mechanical drawings. * Ability to create lens drawings using in house software.
