DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Provide Engineering design and drafting support * Design robust engineering solutions to customer problems * Conduct product testing, quality control & inspection * Help identify solutions to supply chain issues * Manage new product orders from start to finish * Provide change management solutions to operations

Education & Experience * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in engineering.

Skills * Mechanical aptitude * Good verbal and written communication * Research and utilize resources to solve new technical problems * Teamwork * Computer skills * Project management * Document new processing methodology for others to follow

Working Conditions Office, manufacturing floor, and testing lab environment Requires visual and mental attention. View computer monitor >80% of the day

Physical Requirements Standing (hours per day) * Able to life * Able to focus on computer 6 hours/day

Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corporate EHS standards
