Do you have experience working with machines in cabinetry? Are you looking for a new position that will allow you to develop your skills and grow? Do you do your best work when you are hands on? We are currently hiring cabinetry helpers to do machine operation in a local Marina company/manufacturer.

salary: $41,600 - $58,240 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

▪

Interpret and understand drawings and blueprints for joinery fabrication.

▪

Confer with shop foreman to assist in developing guidelines and quotations for joinery labor and materials

▪

Setup, safely operate and maintain woodworker hand and power tools

▪

Lay out, cut, shape, mold and assemble components using wood, wood substitutes and other materials

▪

Finish sand and veneer, stain, polish or laminates to surfaces

▪

Fit and install components in coordination with other trades.

▪

Program and Operate CNC Machine

▪

Identify and develop approaches to improving company productivity

▪

Assist in maintaining inventory of equipment, supplies and materials.

▪

Provide supervisor with job status and recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.

▪

Perform other tasks and work as directed by the supervisor.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• CABINETRY (1 year of experience is preferred)
