Position Summary:

As a Software QA Engineer 3, you will be integral to ensuring the quality and reliability of Gulfstream's cutting-edge aviation software. Your role involves designing test plans, executing tests, documenting defects, and collaborating closely with software developers to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Execute Test Plans: Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to validate software functionality.

  • Defect Management: Document software defects using a bug tracking system, and communicate issues effectively to software development teams.

  • Problem Identification and Resolution: Identify, analyze, and document problems related to program function, output, and user interface to facilitate timely resolutions.

  • Product Design Collaboration: Participate in product design reviews to provide insights on functional requirements, potential issues, and improvement opportunities.

  • Test Documentation: Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Compatibility Testing: Conduct software compatibility tests with various programs, hardware, operating systems, and network environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • ISTQB Foundational Testing Certification or equivalent (2+ years testing experience).

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management software (2+ years).

  • Experience with Selenium Framework or equivalent for writing automated test cases preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to convey technical concepts effectively in both written and verbal formats.

  • Flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.

  • Manufacturing background preferred; basic electrical background a plus.

  • Familiarity with iOS and Android devices.

Pay Details: $65.00 per hour
