Responsibilities

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for administrative and technical supervision of outside Machinist and Mechanics. Managing the day-to-day operations while completing projects and ensuring deadlines are met. Work with vessel Project Managers in reviewing customer work orders and establishing realistic budgets. Plans and schedules approved work orders and assigns appropriate personnel to complete the work. Ensures work is safely performed per OSHA standards and completed per company standards, on time and in budget meeting customer's expectations. Be in constant communication with Project Managers if anything is revealed that will affect quality standards, schedule or cost.

Qualifications:

•

5 years supervisory/management experience

•

3 years' experience working with large luxury yachts

•

Experience with yacht driveline maintenance, alignment and repair

•

Familiarity with class (Lloyds, ABS etc.) requirements

•

Good mathematical and computer skills
