Final Line Mechanic II- $28.75hr

Job Description:

  • Position Purpose: In a team-oriented work environment, install parts and components, lines, cables, etc., in the area assigned using required tools and appropriate prints, specs, and operational requirements to complete work assigned through final inspection and assure conformance to specifications.

  • Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components.

  • Rig control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear and doors, engines, cowls, aircraft entry doors and associated parts and hardware.

  • Remove and replace linkage, sectors, components, cut and fit system lines, and associated hardware necessary to facilitate and perform basic repairs.

  • Responsible for quality and efficiency of all installations; ensure all parts/assembly meet requirements.

  • Install systems lines, valves, ducts, and associated parts and hardware. Work to ensure a leak-free system.

  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, including permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools, wrenches, checking tools, witness gauges, etc., and tools to successfully complete components and perform minor structure installation.

  • Remove and replace, cut and fit system lines, panels, structural components, and associated hardware necessary to facilitate and perform basic repairs.

Qualifications :

  • Required 3+ years of heavy mechanical/repair experience such as auto mechanics, diesel mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, military vehicle mechanics etc.

  • 1-2 Years of aviation experience preferred but not required.

  • Must be able to use various hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

  • Highschool Diploma/ GED equivalent.

Work Environment/ Shift:

  • Must be open to shift (1st, 2nd, Weekend Available)

  • PPE Required (Steel Toe Boots, Ear Plugs, Protective Eye wear)

  • Climate controlled manufacturing environment
