GeoVerra Survey Project Coordinator in Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan

GeoVerra is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our fun and knowledgeable team, located by any of our offices in Saskatchewan or Manitoba. The successful candidate will provide project production and technical support on Geomatics projects in both an office and field capacity. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting project managers to successfully secure and execute projects.

What you will do:

  • Work with and assist project manager(s) through various aspects of a project life cycle, including but not limited to;

  • Proposal / fee estimate preparation

  • Schedule support

  • Data processing and calculations

  • Client liaison

  • Project closeout

  • Preparation and review of field packages.

  • Provide support for field and office staff.

  • Preparation and checking of survey deliverables (engineering/construction and Legal products).

  • Travel to field sites throughout Saskatchewan to assist Project Managers and Field Crews.

    What you will bring:

  • Diploma or Degree in Geomatics, Civil , Engineering Design & Drafting, or related discipline.

  • 10+ years’ experience in the Geomatics industry in both the field and office.

  • Member or eligible for registration with local Survey or Technologist Association considered an asset.

  • Working knowledge of current AutoCAD and/or MicroSurvey software; Trimble Business Center ( TBC) and Microsoft 365 software.

  • Knowledgeable in Trimble equipment operation

  • Knowledge of standard surveying principles and good practices.

  • Conventional and GNSS

  • Civil3D and terrain modelling

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and processes an asset

  • Strong communication, time management, organizational and analytical skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization

  • Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all staff

  • Safety first mindset and continuously contributing to maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.

  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.

  • Completed training and valid tickets in First Aid, H2S and CSTS safety training is an asset.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as per the limits provided in the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace.
