Position Overview

Kemin Nutrisurance is seeking a talented and dedicated Operator. The successful candidate will be in charge of and responsible for blending, packaging and palletizing the full line of dry products (50-55lb paper bags, boxes, bulk bags) while maintaining all Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards; ensuring that the quality of finished products is correct in appearance, specifications, and labeling. This position will work 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday (Overtime on Fridays as needed) at the Sarcoxie, Missouri Production Plant.

Responsibilities

• Correctly sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Follow personal safety procedures.

• Maintain housekeeping standards.

• Operate forklift.

• Maintain and inspect all packaging line equipment

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.

• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.

• The position requires excellent attendance, detailed in all aspects of the job, and a self-starter.

• Ability to read, understand, follow manufacturing standard operating procedures and to maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness.

• Effective written and oral communication skills.

  A post-offer background check and drug screen is required. Additional pre-employment requirements may be necessary based on position.
