FULLY ONSITE in Sarasota, FL. We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an IT Administrator (Network/Systems) in Sarasota, Florida. As an IT Administrator, you will be a key player in our healthcare industry team, providing comprehensive technical support, maintaining network and system integrity, and ensuring the safety of our facility. This will be working in a very small IT shop (2 IT employees) and will require a variety of technical support both in a network and system administration world.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of software, network, and system issues

• Provide first level help desk support with excellent customer service

• Manage software upgrades and deskside support operations

• Oversee network security measures such as firewalls and penetration testing remediation

• Administer Office 365 and VMware servers

• Maintain and administer network systems

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new applications

• Be prepared to stay on-site during emergencies such as hurricanes to ensure the continuous operation of our facility

• Uphold HIPPA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an IT Administrator (Network/Systems)

• Proficient in Networking, with a strong understanding of network architecture and protocols

• Experience in Firewall setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Knowledge of Penetration Testing to identify and fix potential security vulnerabilities

• Ability to Provide Technical Support to users, resolving hardware and software issues swiftly

• Experience with VMware, including setup, configuration, and maintenance

• Proficient in using Office 365, including the configuration and support of email, calendar, and other collaboration tools

• Experience in Network Administration, including managing routers, switches, and other network devices

• Proficient in System Administration, particularly in a Windows environment

• Comprehensive knowledge of Windows, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
