Responsibilities

::: {#win0divHRSSCHWRKDESCR100grp$1} ::: {#win0divHRSSCHPSTDSCDESCRLONG$1} This role regularly:

• Performs maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance for HVAC systems on the campus.
  • This includes boilers, generators, air compressors, water pumps, fuel oil pumps, fans, and chillers.
• Maintains chiller/boiler logs, checks all meters and gauges, completes water testing, and operates in accordance with The Ringling's schedules and procedures.
• Performs a variety of work such as pressure washing, painting, plumbing, filter changes, inspecting buildings/equipment to ensure good and safe operating conditions.
• Generates, responds, and updates work orders daily regarding progress and/or upon completion of assignment.

As needed this role:

• Assists other trades workers, emergencies, and special Facilities maintenance projects.
• Remains on-call during designated periods outside normal working hours.
  • On-call responsibilities are on a rotating schedule for facilities staff members.
  • While on-call, the incumbent may be required to return to the work site to respond to maintenance emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.
  • (Note: A technical or vocational degree can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
• HS diploma or GED

Physical

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds frequently, climb ladders/use lifts, walk significant distances, and work in small spaces.

Skills

• Valid Driver's License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • This role uses golf carts/all-terrain vehicles on the campus. ::: ::: ::: :::
