Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Geotechnical Department Manager for one of our top engineering consultant clients in Florida. The candidate heads their private and public projects revolving around subsurface studies, drilling studies, and soil analysis throughout the region and perform geotechnical analyses for karst ground engineering, foundations, and earth retention structures. Trainings and certifications to be assisted by client.

Salary for the position depends greatly on years of experience and proven record of leadership in the space. This can range from $95,000-$150,000 per year.

Skills and Requirements

PE experience in Structural or Geotechnical space

Hands on experience with logging, soil, bids, proposals, and general project management

Experience with business development, and management of a small group of staff/project engineers and PMs

BS or higher in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering Advanced degree in Geotechnical or Civil engineering

Professional Engineer license in Florida

GeoStudio, LPILE
