Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the service industry, located in Sarasota, Florida. The role primarily involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the processing of customer credit applications accurately and quickly

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and handle follow-ups on outstanding invoices

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Office Suites for efficient execution of tasks

• Handle billing functions and check processing efficiently

• Handle BtoB - Business to Business transactions and cash activity

• Apply Excel Formulas in financial tasks and use NetSuite for financial management

• Carry out other accounting functions as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in utilizing Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, particularly in creating and manipulating Excel Formulas

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites for effective documentation and communication

• Capability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently, with a special focus on Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in executing Billing Functions and managing Cash Activity

• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures and protocols

• Experience in BtoB - Business to Business transactions and relationship building

• Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite for business management

• Ability to process and evaluate Credit Applications in line with company policies

• Strong understanding of the Accounts Receivable Specialist role within the Service industry.
