Red Hat Senior Sales Operations Analyst - LATAM Tech Sales in Sao Paulo, Brazil

The Red Hat Globally Centralized Tech Sales Operations team is looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to support the LATAM Tech Sales team. In this role, you will partner with LATAM Tech Sales and Sales leadership teams to advise them on their go-to-market strategy, sales forecast and cadence, and fiscal year plan. You will compile, analyze, and interpret sales data to make data-based decisions. You'll need to be able to understand complex financial problems and provide explanations and solutions that are sound and clearly communicated. You will need to have expert level capability, understanding, and interpretation of RH tools and resources and be able to train and translate to sales. As a Senior Sales Strategy and Planning Analyst, you will also need to have excellent communication skills and ability to support multiple teams.

What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to the LATAM Tech Sales Leadership team Vice Presidents and their organizations.

  • Guide, train, and influence business leaders to drive adoption and utilization of standardized metrics, tools, and dashboards.

  • Provide forecast analytics that will improve the leadership team’s ability to guide the business and surpass targets.

  • Develop analyses, KPI metrics, and weekly packages/presentations that will provide insight and direction to sales leadership.

  • Use your deep knowledge of the business to build financial models and performance metrics for fiscal year planning.

  • Tackle ad hoc tasks as needed and juggle multiple projects and initiatives.

  • Serve as the consummate team player who will advise, support, guide, and motivate colleagues.

  • Effectively collaborate with other business support teams like Global/GEO operations, Data Teams, and Incentives on deliverables.

  • Work extended hours during planning, quarter-end, and year-end periods when required as well as flexibility for various time zones.

  • Develop an understanding of Red Hat’s workflows and a deep understanding of our practices and policies. Continuously look for ways to improve productivity or the level of services provided to the business.

What you will bring

  • 8+ years of experience in a financial/business analyst role or similar capacity

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a similar capacity, Masters or MBA preferred.

  • Expert level Excel/Google sheets skills with complex formulae writing and automation capability.

  • Well versed in business tools: Tableau, Anaplan, Google suite, RHSC, etc.

  • Strong executive presence with exceptional verbal, written, and communication skills in portuguese, english and spanish.

  • Ability to be flexible, pivot quickly, take on ad hoc tasks as needed, etc.

  • Strong cross-collaborator with ability to take the lead on projects.

  • A proactive self starter who can work with little guidance and lead independently.

  • Team player who will advise, support, guide, and motivate colleagues.

  • This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.
