Oracle Senior Functional Consultant in SAO PAULO, Brazil

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Document NetSuite Value for Clients:

  • Collaborate with clients in General Business Industry combining Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing and Accounting/Financials backgrounds to understand their specific business objectives and how NetSuite can deliver significant value to their operations.

  • Drive Customer Satisfaction and Referenceability:

  • Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction through effective project management and the delivery of quality solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities.

  • Understand Clients' Business Processes:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of clients business within Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing and Accounting/Financials areas, focusing on topics such as: operational efficiency, Procurement, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Financials, Reporting, Banking, customizations and automations.

  • Use this understanding to identify opportunities for operational improvement and align NetSuite functionalities with the specific business objectives of the General Business Industry.

  • Propose Solutions Based on Client and Business Knowledge:

  • Utilize your deep knowledge of client needs and NetSuite capabilities to propose customized solutions that address specific challenges in Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing and Accounting/Financials. Engage in strategic discussions with clients to align NetSuite functionalities with their evolving needs and sector-specific goals.

  • Collaborate with Highly Skilled Teams:

  • Work alongside team members with advanced functional and technical skills to deliver comprehensive solutions that address the complex needs of clients in Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing and Accounting/Financials.

  • Contribute to a collaborative environment where complex issues are tackled through collective expertise and business processes in these sectors are optimized.

  • Moderately Complex Problem Solving:

  • Address and resolve moderately complex problems by applying your understanding of company policies and processes, with a focus on specific needs regarding Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing and Accounting/Financials. Seek guidance when necessary while maintaining autonomy in problem-solving and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions for clients in these sectors.

  • Drive Consensus and Remediate Gaps:

  • Lead efforts to identify and close gaps in system configuration and current processes, ensuring solutions are tailored to Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing and Accounting/Financials. Work towards consensus with clients on the approach to remedy these gaps, enhancing system effectiveness and aligning with specific industry business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in Defining Requirements for Complex Customizations and Integrations:

  • Proven ability to define and document requirements for complex customizations and integrations within ERP systems, with a specific focus on Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing (these are a must) and Accounting/Financials (desirable). Track record of developing and implementing customized solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities of these sectors.

  • Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Logistics or a related field.

  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications will be considered a plus.

  • Strong Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and understandably to non-technical stakeholders, especially in Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing (these are a must) and Accounting/Financials (desirable) contexts.

  • Focus on Customer Satisfaction:

  • Passion for driving high levels of customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.

  • Experience in roles involving direct client interaction or contact, with a particular focus on the Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing (these are a must) and Accounting/Financials (desirable) areas.

  • ERP or CRM Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of ERP or CRM systems and their business applications, especially in Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing (these are a must) and Accounting/Financials (desirable) sectors.

  • Ability to leverage this knowledge to propose and implement effective and sector-specific solutions for clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specific experience with NetSuite, particularly in configuring and customizing the platform to meet the business needs of Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing (these are a must) and Accounting/Financials (desirable) sectors.

  • Experience in the Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing (these are a must) and Accounting/Financials (desirable), focusing on inventory management optimization, supply chain efficiency, and production tracking, Accounting, Financials, Reporting, Banking, customizations, and automations.

  • NetSuite certifications (e.g., NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant).

  • Consulting Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of consulting experience, preferably in roles involving ERP or CRM systems and serving Distribution, Retail, or Manufacturing (these are a must) and Accounting/Financials (desirable) areas.

  • Previous experience working with ERP or CRM platforms such as Oracle Fusion, HCM, Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
