Robert Half CFO in Santo Domingo Pueblo, New Mexico

Description We are looking to hire a highly efficient CFO in the healthcare/Tribal industry. The role will involve overseeing the strategic financial plan, annual operating and capital budgets, and ensuring compliance. You will also be guiding the CEO and health board on critical financial matters and leading the finance department through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a strategic financial plan and annual operating and capital budgets • Oversee the Controller, Director of PRC, and Business Office Manager to ensure compliance • Advise the CEO and health board on all critical financial and accounting matters and revenue cycle issues • Plan, assign, and review the work of each department to ensure that group objectives are met • Recruit and train well-experience in personnel to meet the objectives of each department • Provide leadership to each department through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication • Conduct regular meetings to ensure that each department is well informed of changes in programs, policies, and procedures • Ensure timely performance appraisals of finance and Business Office personnel • Use skills such as 3M, Accounting Software Systems, CRM, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, Cash Flow Analysis, and Patient Billing to effectively carry out these responsibilities. Requirements • Must hold a relevant degree in Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, Business Administration or a related field • Must have an active CPA license • Experience in healthcare or Tribal industry • Proven experience as a CFO or similar leadership role for at least 7 years • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing • Demonstrable experience in managing Budget Processes • Proven knowledge and experience in Capital Management • Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis • Experience in managing Patient Billing processes • Excellent leadership and organizational skills • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High ethical standards and professionalism, respecting confidentiality requirements.
