Eaton Corporation Shipping Supervisor in Santiago, Dominican Republic

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS PCD division is currently seeking a Shipping Supervisor.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary

Supervise, organize and coordinate all activities of the Shipping departments, controls the materials entry - exit and the proper management and billing of all orders shipped.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for executing Profit Plan targets for Profit Plan, Freight Cost, Cost Out, inventory accuracy and other key metrics as required by site and divisional leadership.

  2. Ensure site adheres to Supply Chain Policies and Corporate procedures and programs.

  3. Establishes and maintains procedures for the department.

  4. Build Organizational Capability through development plans, mentoring, and driving accountability.

  5. Prepare and maintain control of all shipping documentation, BOL, manifests.

  6. Supervise material replenishment process to production lines. Ensure Kanban fulfilment on a timely manner.

  7. Supervise timeliness and accuracy of all warehouse and shipping transactions.

  8. Adhere to Trade compliance regulations, ISA, and local laws for imports and exports.

  9. Provide location tracking information to customer shipments.

  10. Expedite customer needs across all functional areas.

  11. Establish and maintain department metrics and prepare action plans to follow the progress and accomplishment of the department goals.

  12. Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator.

  13. Assist to all EHS training assigned and Train all employees under his/her supervision in the JSA for their functions.

14.Support the introduction of new products and designs in production lines, as well as transfers of existing products. #LI-DG2

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related careers

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in similar positions

Skills:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineer, Business Administration or related areas.

  2. Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in Materials, Operations or Supply Chain management in a manufacturing environment.

  3. Bilingual (Spanish/English)

  4. PC knowledge: Microsoft Office tools, SAP (MM, IM, WM).

  5. APICS Certification preferable.

  6. Project management knowledge and negotiation / interpersonal communication skills.
