Amazon Distribution Development Manager, LATAM Scale Organization in Santiago, Chile

Description

As a Partner Development Manager supporting the distribution program, you will help scale the delivery of industry leading, transformative partner programs that support the AWS distribution partner community in building and differentiating their high-value products, solutions and services that help accelerate AWS Distribution Partners and their partners (a.k.a. Distribution Sellers) community in building a successful cloud practice.

This role will challenge both your creative, analytical skills in order to best determine the potential growth path of your managed partner community. You will build relationships with business stakeholders within the Latin America alliances team at AWS and within the AWS distribution partners, become a subject matter expert in the distribution channel segment, drive both new partners and new sales campaigns in support AWS Channel Partners. The Distribution Partner Development Manager will partner with current and future AWS distribution partners, Global alliance leaders, Partner Development Managers, Partner Development Reps., Sales teams, and the Business Development organization to execute the worldwide distribution program in the Latin America region.

Key job responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the distribution program in Latin American

• Support the process for launching a new distribution channel partner in new geographic regions

• Develop structured processes around onboarding, enabling and supporting distribution partners for business and operations

• Work across regional sales and partner teams to build an ecosystem of strategic distribution partners that add significant value to AWS Consulting and Technology Partners

• Serve as a key member of the AWS distribution team in helping to define and deliver the overall go-to-market strategy

• Own all reporting of distribution, participating in regular business reviews with leadership and stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel 70% and travel throughout Latin America

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • 5+ years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
