Robert Half Human Resources Generalist in Santa Rosa, California

Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The human resources generalist will play a critical role in managing our company’s most valuable resources: our employees. This position will have both strategic and functional responsibilities, including recruitment, personnel management, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, and motivation of human personnel.

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

  • Report on and manage recruitment and selection processes.

  • Conduct onboarding and training procedures.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and stay up-to-date with the latest HR federal and state laws.

  • Develop and administer compensation and benefits plans.

  • Address employee grievances and solve problems to maintain the overall employee job satisfaction.

  • Promote a positive and open work environment where every employee feels comfortable, respected, and listened to.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field; advanced HR qualification will be a plus.

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist.

  • Knowledge and experience of various HR functions, such as hiring, records management, training & development, etc.

  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in HR software, like HRMS and ATS systems.

  • Strong ethics and reliability.

This involves a significant amount of time listening to their needs, concerns, and suggestions while coming up with potential solutions.
