Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Clerk in Santa Rosa, California. In this role, you will be primarily tasked with handling the accounts payable backlog and improving the efficiency of our accounts payable system. You will also be directly involved in the processing and approval of invoices, setting up new vendors, and maintaining constant communication with various site teams.

Responsibilities:

• Processing a high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately on a monthly basis.

• Setting up new vendors in the system and transitioning to bill.com for billing.

• Approving invoices following the company's financial policies and procedures.

• Regularly communicating with site teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Utilizing Excel, Sage Intact, and Bill.com to perform daily tasks.

• Resolving issues related to accounts payable backlog.

• Regularly updating and maintaining accurate customer credit records.

• Processing customer credit applications as needed.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Utilizing strong computer skills to efficiently carry out tasks and maintain communication. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Strong numerical data entry skills

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

• Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
