Amazon Sr. Front End Engineer, Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka in Santa Monica, California

Description

Front End Engineer will be responsible for design, development, delivery and support of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications.

In our team you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.

About the team

Amazon Q Business is a generative AI–powered assistant that can answer questions, provide summaries, generate content, and take actions, securely completing the tasks based on data and information in your enterprise systems. It empowers employees to be more creative, data-driven, efficient, prepared, and productive.

Basic Qualifications

- - 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

- - 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience

- - Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

Preferred Qualifications

- - Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

- - Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

- - Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST

- - Knowledge of security technology and concepts (Authentication, Authorization, Single sign-on, Cryptography, etc.)

- - Experience as a front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
