Our customers are interested in leveraging AWS to fuel transformative business initiatives in the AdTech and MarTech space. Solution Architects (SAs) help our customers build highly scalable, flexible, resilient, secure and cost-effective cloud architectures. As a trusted customer advocate, the SA helps organizations adopt advanced cloud-based solutions and migrate existing on premises workloads to the cloud. This role offers SAs the chance to shape and implement a strategy aimed at increasing awareness and widespread usage of AWS technologies.

Key job responsibilities

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them navigate the complex landscape of cloud, AdTech, and MarTech solutions. You will assist the customer in architecting solutions that leverage AWS services, AdTech platforms (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, ad exchange), and MarTech tools (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics). You will develop deep expertise in AWS services and continuously expand your knowledge of the evolving AdTech and MarTech ecosystems.

You will also:

  • Help customers understand the benefits of AWS and contribute to designing cloud solutions.

  • You will build technical relationship with customers and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of the customer will shape the guidance you provide.

  • Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features

  • You will contribute to the development and dissemination of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (such as whitepapers, code samples, blog posts). You will also promote and educate others about AWS through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences.

  • Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.

  • Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customer's outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with AdTech ecosystem, including platforms like DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and ad servers

  • 3+ years experience in MarTech platforms and solutions, such as CRM systems, marketing automation tools, content management systems, and analytics/reporting tools

  • 3+ years of Experience in integrating cloud services with AdTech and MarTech platforms to create end-to-end solutions

  • 3+ years experience in data management, audience targeting, campaign optimization, and performance measurement for digital advertising

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience working in large enterprise or complex environments.

  • Familiarity with various database platforms (relational, NoSQL, vector databases)

  • Strong technical acumen to understand the customer landscape, identify opportunities, overcome technical obstacles, and ultimately influence the adoption of AWS services in conjunction with business requirements.

  • Strong business acumen to comprehend the business domain, customer/partner challenges, and propose solutions to address their business problems effectively.

  • Experience interacting with and presenting to senior leadership (e.g., CxOs) within customer or partner organizations, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and solutions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
