As the
Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be under the supervision of the
Nurse Manager or designee, and are responsible for providing direct patient
care, supporting physicians during procedures, and ensuring radiation and
infection control safety. You will maintain equipment, perform, perform quality
assurance, imaging tasks and accurately document procedures. Additionally, you
must adhere to professional standards, regulatory guidelines and hospital
policies while demonstrating strong communication and teaching skills.
Flexibility, the ability to work on-call, rotating weekends and physical
capability are essential to handle the job's demands.
Salary: $55.94 - $73.81 Hourly
Qualifications

ARRT license - required
CRT license - required
Fluoroscopic permit - required
BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
Radiologic Technologist School graduate - required
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position; must be able to move over 35lbs. and wear 25 lbs. of lead apron - required
At least 6 months experience in an Interventional area - preferred
VI or CV certification - preferred
Ability to operate a variety of IVUS and FFR equipment
Ability to work the posted schedule and 'on call' as set up by the department with a response of 30 minutes for call back cases
