In this role you will mine and combine multiple data sources (retail, consumer, market, demographic, etc.) to provide powerful, action-oriented recommendations. Also you will support and drive the deployment and adoption of one or several areas of Demand Spaces in the assigned area (typically country or Business Unit).

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Be responsible for governance and growth of the Demand Spaces data foundation and dashboards.

  • Work closely with business teams to establish demand spaces in new markets, and continued support of existing one

  • Leverage portfolio and growth insights derived from the Demand Spaces framework to challenge for growth opportunities for Mondelēz.

  • In partnership with shopper, develop compelling customer selling stories.

  • Provide PMO support for Demand Spaces, including stakeholder interviews, local/global project touchpoints, team workshops, topic specific discussions, dashboard training. Leads workstreams emerging out of the Demand Space framework (e.g. Customer stories, Equity/Comms, H&W, etc.)

  • Provide analytical support at a local market level.

Role Description : Provide actionable insights, answer critical business questions and unearth new growth opportunities using various knowledge sources. This person must be capable of holistically understanding business problems that are presented in the strategy, from the perspective of markets, categories, competition, consumption, and purchase dynamics, based on internal data sources, and to translate that information into insights that can be applied to the business.

How you will contribute

  • Extract strategic business insights from data and efficiently communicate them to stakeholders

  • Define and lead ad-hoc projects and analysis to support the brands (including category and brand assessments, communication and innovation) to provide power business insights, recommendations and strategic direction

  • Use and integrate different data sources, including consumer/shopper insights, market trends data (Nielsen/Kantar/Euromonitor), internal sources and competitive intelligence to provide insights to stakeholders across the business

  • Lead the brand health tracking, communication and concept testing/measurement

  • Help your internal stakeholders to identify key strategic challenges related to customer and channels where insights could bring new solutions guaranteeing sales excellence

  • Understand the consumer landscape through analysis of the consumer and market dynamics, the structure of the market (i.e. occasions & need states, product domains, retail dynamics etc.) and macroeconomic, culture and people and channel trends

  • Identify shopper opportunities, design and develop action plans, and measure business impact when implemented

  • Be a strategic partner of marketing, trade and sales teams to provide and integrate forward thinking analysis into the planning process

What you will bring

  • Experience working with research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and capability to articulate the outputs with the business priorities

  • Strong marketing analytics and research skills and experience

  • Advanced data integration and visualization skills

  • Willingness to work independently in a remote team delivering insights towards sales, category management and RGM

  • Good communication and storytelling to business teams, ability to convey complex messages simply and succinctly, including implications for the business

  • Knowledge of brand equity studies and commercial testing methodologies

  • Analytical knowledge to interpret information from multiple sources (Nielsen, kantar, economic sources, etc.).

  • Curiosity and proactive attitude to guide the performance of the categories, analyzing, understanding and presenting results

  • Advanced English required.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to partner and communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization

  • Knowledge of retail, pricing, market, consumer and shopper data ingestion, transformation and analysis

  • Experience in consumer goods companies (desirable)

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations

Education / Certifications:

Degree in careers such as Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
