Position Overview:

HealthEdge is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media and Communications Specialist Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate student focused on a degree in Communications or Digital Media. We are seeking a creative storyteller with a passion for social media, AI technology, and multimedia design. They will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and maintaining our internal communications platforms.

About Center of Excellence:

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

Your Impact:

  • Execute on and contribute to a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand values and business goals.

  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts.

  • Utilize AI tools to enhance content creation and boost audience engagement, where applicable.

  • Design and update the company intranet and website to ensure a seamless user experience.

  • Manage the editorial and social media calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.

  • Craft compelling stories that resonate with our audience and reflect our commitment to innovation and excellence.

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of content creation and platform management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal communications initiatives and campaigns.

  • Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.

What You Will Do:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related major, ideally pursuing a Master’s degree

  • Proven experience in social media management, multimedia design, and content creation.

  • Strong writing ability and experience with editorial processes.

  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software.

  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in social media (nice to have).

  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience.

  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.

  • Experience with intranet and website design is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
