Your Career

CloudOps forms part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) team that has an exciting and challenging mission: Govern, automate, maintain, and define the standards for the Company’s cloud presence. While various development groups focus on building our platforms, CloudOps provides operational/engineering support for both the platform as well as the product teams that leverage the platforms.

We are a trusted partner to our clients based on a proven track record of meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for specific services we charge our clients Platform Operations, Service Support, and Cloud Engineering.

Your Impact

  • Oversee and assist in managing the company's presence on the major Cloud Service Providers

  • Automate common, repeatable tasks at large scale

  • Serve as an escalation point for issues as required

  • Design and maintain cloud account provisioning systems

  • Gather and organize data from various cloud providers to maintain an accurate inventory of all resources

  • Evaluate and manage application and environment security

  • Adhere to change management processes during implementations

  • Work in a diverse and global team environment

  • Cross-train with other global team members

  • Seek opportunities to streamline standard operating procedures through automation

  • Promote the CloudOps and SRE mindset

Your Experience

  • University degree (BS/MS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent or equivalent military experience

  • Career level experience (minimum 5 years)

  • Deep understanding of how cloud accounts are managed, secured, and provisioned

  • 2+ years of experience with managing major CSPs such as GCP or AWS at the Organizational level

  • Ability to hit the ground running and provide value immediately

Desirable

  • Experience with CSP’s management APIs, authentication schemes, and billing

  • Scripting experience in some major programming languages (Python, Go)

  • Certification in cloud technologies (cloud architecture, security, or equivalent)

The compensation offered for this position will depend on your degree or progress toward degree , qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting rate is expected to be $175,000/yr for the specific role.
