Data Privacy Consultant

salary: $73 - 76 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors


  • Great communication and collaboration skills to build trust across business groups (BGs)

  • Performing data inventory, mapping and analysis activities

  • Identifying privacy and data protection risks, requirements and controls

  • Assisting with designing and implementing privacy and data governance program, processes and controls under CCPA

  • Prior experience with GDPR, HIPPA Privacy Rule, and/or other privacy related efforts

  • Information Security and Privacy Certifications such as CISSP, CIPP, CISA, CISM, and CIPP are desired


  • 5+ years of Information Security experience with a focus on Data Privacy with emphasize on data mappings inventory

  • Consulting experience preferred with excellent verbal and written communication skills required to lead meetings with all levels of management

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on PowerPoint to storyboard and Excel for analysis


  • Understanding of how CCPA affects an organization and able to link it to business processes

  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving, organization, and documentation skills
