Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join Sonatech LLC in Santa Barbara, California.

Job Description

The candidate will work with Engineering Management to put together and track project plans. The candidate must have previous experience managing both hardware and software projects and have excellent skills working with engineers.

Responsibilities

Working with engineering management and engineering staff to develop project plans.

Track execution progress through the project.

Provide reports on execution performance.

Hold weekly project meetings.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in some technical major

Minimum 5 years experience managing projects

Experience guiding products through the full development lifecycle and field trials

Excellent cross-functional team communications skills

US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance

• Work onsite. Remote work is not acceptable for this position.

Preferred Skills

5+ years as an engineer before switching to project management

Other management background a plus.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000
