POSITION SUMMARY: The Electro-Mechanical Assembler contributes to the production of high-performance underwater acoustics systems by assembling electro-mechanical systems and components according to engineering specifications and drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solder PWA components, surface mount components, cable assemblies and connectors.
• Conduct detailed mechanical and electrical assembly, including wiring, soldering, and component installation.
• Prep work including but not limited to wire preparation, stringing cable assemblies, and sandblasting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year soldering experience
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident

DESIRED:

• IPC-J-STD certification
• Experience reading drawings
• Experience using measuring equipment; digital indicators and microscope
• Ability to work with adhesives
• Ability to work in a team environment

Pay range: $20-$35/hour - several factors are considered when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
