We are looking for a talented and driven professional to work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team developing flight electronics for next-generation space systems. The individual filling this position will collaborate with the electrical engineering team to design, analyze, manufacture, and test electrical subsystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full life cycle of flight electronics design, analysis, manufacture, and test, as a member of the Electrical Engineering team

  • Perform electrical design, including schematic, parts selection and layout, for spacecraft electronics subsystems (e.g. avionics, solar arrays, batteries, payloads, subsystems and harnessing)

  • Other professional duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering

  • 3 year of relevant experience developing high reliability electronics hardware

  • Experience in design and test of both analog and digital electronics

  • Practical experience with PCB assembly (i.e. subcontracted pick-and-place)

  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, and current probes

  • Familiarity with firmware relating to electronics subsystems and serial interfaces such as SPI, RS-422 and RS-485

  • Excellent communications skills, ability and desire to work collaboratively in a team environment, and willingness to learn new skills and technological resources

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced development environment

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years relevant experience developing high reliability electronics hardware

  • Electronics design and verification testing experience

  • Altium schematic capture and Layout experience

  • Experience developing in C / C++ and Python

  • Experience developing firmware for embedded systems (e.g. microcontrollers, FPGAs)

  • Experience developing spacecraft power systems

We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by skills, responsibilities and relevant work experience.
