Job Description

ATG is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Advanced EHF Satellite (AEHF) Communications (SATCOM) Continuity of Operations (COOP) Site Lead responsible for establishing, operating, and maintaining the International Partner AEHF Support Center (IPASC) COOP site located at Vandenburg SFB, CA. Leads all efforts to implement all required capabilities at the IPASC COOP Site at VSFB. Once, Initial Operational Capability (IOC) is achieved, develop superior knowledge of International Partner (IP) Planning, IP Operations, and all associated tasks and procedures. Ensures site is operationally ready to assume all IPASC functions and integrate IPASC staff in all aspects of operations with 96 hours of notification. Performs all mission essential functions in a collaborative environment with the IPASC Prime site, PB C-SSE, 148 SOPS VSFB, Security, VSFB Facility leads, and others as required. Perform additional duties as site KOAM, security, property custodian, sysadmin, etc. Develop and staff for approval COOP site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) in support of designated Mission Essential Tasks (METs). Designated IPASC team lead for coordination with VSFB facility, security, IT services, etc. Maintain operational readiness of COOP site to include all classified and unclassified computers, voice, Direct Lines, MPSS systems, RM databases, MASC, BITES, etc. Plan and conduct COOP exercises as required; Operate and maintain local COMSEC equipment and accounts; support ongoing IPASC METs; Attend meetings, train IPs and IPASC team members as required; Travel to IPASC in Colorado Springs and IP locations as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • 10 years' experience SATCOM planning and management

  • Self-starter; Able to work independently in establishing and maintaining a remote site.

  • Proven track record developing trusted relationships with government representatives and team members.

  • Strong communications skills - both oral and written.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, listening, and interpersonal skills.

  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work effectively and perform multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Ability to complete assignments correctly, independently, and in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualification:

5 years' experience overseeing AEHF SATCOM initiatives.

Key Management Infrastructure (Training after hire is acceptable)

10+ years of relevant experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
