NDT Inspector Level 2

Job Description

We are seeking experienced NDT Level 2 Inspectors to join our aerospace facility based in Santa Ana, CA. The positions available will be one for the day shift (6am-2:30pm) and one for the second shift (2:30PM - 11:00PM). Pay ranges between $25-$35 per hour, dependent on experience with overtime available as well.

Candidates must have NDT certifications and NDT training hours log. Ideally looking for candidates with Magnetic Particle Testing experience .

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and inspecting parts and assemblies for defects using various techniques. This includes both automated and manual methods such as radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser shearography, and magnetic particle.

Ideal Skills

• NDT Level 2 to NAS 410 certification

• Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)

• Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

• Blueprint Reading

• Ability to read the equivalent of the size and letters of the Jaeger I chart at a minimum distance of 12 inches and distinguish and differentiate the contrasts between colors illustrated on an Ishihara Test Chart.

Additional Skills

• Adherence to safety procedures

• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area

• Ability to make acceptance or rejection determinations

• Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment

• Ability to assist in the set-up of material for receipt inspection

• Ability to train others
