Iteris is looking for a Help Desk Technicianthat will help provide technical support and troubleshooting to employees and contractors for software and hardware. Participate in the computer asset lifecycle from initial load and configuration through hard drive destruction and e-waste.

What you will be doing:

  • Review Help Desk Ticket queue

  • Answer Help Desk phone calls

  • Resolve IT-related issues

  • Escalate calls to Infrastructure or Application team as needed

  • Configure and maintain computer assets

    What you need to be successful in this role:

  • High school or better level of education

  • Working knowledge of PC Applications and Microsoft Windows/Office

  • Working knowledge of PC hardware

  • Basic understanding of networks

  • Ability to communicate in person and over the phone with employees needing assistance covering a variety of Help Desk issues

  • Advanced computer knowledge and skills preferred

  • IT Help Desk experience preferred

  • Advanced problem solving preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to customer at their level of understanding

  • Ability to analyze, isolate, duplicate, and resolve problems in a timely manner

    Iteris anticipates paying between $23.25 and $26.00 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
