Boehringer Ingelheim Global Data Analyst in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain

Tasks and responsibilities

As a Global Data Analyst, you will be collecting, managing and analyzing Go-To-Market data and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders in order to measure the effectiveness of the GTM Transformation within the company.

  • Be the project lead for GTM data modeling in Snowflake and DBT

  • Connect with stakeholders around the globe and understand their data

  • Organize data in a way it can be used and analyzed in an efficient way across markets and stakeholders

  • Analyze / interpret this data to extract business value

  • Drive conversations with capability owners to define metrics and KPIs

  • Implement dashboards and reports in Tableau and visualize data so it can easily be understood

  • Clear Communication of your findings to the stakeholders

  • Deliver according to high standards with regards to consistency, usability and quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, IT or equivalent work experience required or Bachelor in Statistics or beta study

  • 5 years progressive work experience in data management and/or data modelling

  • 3+ years experience in leading data projects and people

  • Demonstrated expertise in Business (Process) Analysis and defining KPIs to drive business performance

  • Highly skilled in SQL, Snowflake, and data transformation techniques.

  • Ability to negotiate and influence across a matrix & cross-functional organization

  • Good judgment in evaluating benefits and risks and providing sound recommendations.

  • Language: Fluency in oral and written English; further language skills would be an asset

  • Strong collaboration, communication and mediation skills

  • Strong results orientation. Ability to plan and organize work. Observation, interviewing and listening skills.
