Safety-Kleen Reconditioner in Sanford, North Carolina

Noble Oil Services Sanford, NC is looking for a Reconditioner to join their safety conscious team! As a Reconditioner you will be responsible for the assembly, disassembly, demonstrations, testing and maintenance on aqueous parts washers as well as assisting with maintaining parts required for parts washers for Noble Oil Services Inc. customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

  • Assist Cuda Department Manager in the establishment of priorities to determine what equipment will be refurbished each week.

  • Evaluate the condition of the parts washers that need to be refurbished

  • Make selection of units that will be refurbished, used only for parts, or totally eliminated from the refurbishment program.

  • For machines selected for refurbishment, disassemble the units, and evaluate the parts for potential future use

  • Segregate the usable parts from those not having any additional operational economic value

  • For disassembled part washers’ cabinets, accumulate units and prepare for shipping to have sandblasted, and painted by third party contractor.

  • Coordinate with third party contractor scheduling of dropping off and pick up of units requiring work.

  • Following receipt of newly painted cabinets, take and use all operational parts to reassemble the refurbished cabinets.

  • Following assembly , add water to unit and perform testing of unit operations

  • Communicate to manager the number of refurbished parts washers that are ready to be placed at customer locations

  • Develop an understanding of all parts that are included in the aqueous parts washer that will go through the refurbishment process.

  • Establish an inventory replenishment point that will ensure parts are readily available for cabinets that need to be refurbished.

  • Communicate with Cuda Department Manager to order from manufacturer necessary parts for timely assembly of repainted parts washer cabinets

  • Coordinate with Cuda parts washer technicians appropriate parts inventory levels needed for the trucks and spare part inventory

  • Act as agent for parts order and restocking parts cabinets as necessary

  • Perform job duties in accordance with Noble Oil Services, Inc. regulations

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

What does it take to work for Noble Oil Services?

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Strong electrical wiring experience

  • Ability to work towards a goal oriented requirement

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.

  • Ability to climb stairs & ladders and work at various heights

  • Ability to push and/or pull heavy material

  • CDL preferred

  • Clean MVR required

  • Good communication skills, oral and written

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to read schematics and follow directions

  • Ability to follow proper safety procedures
