Job Description

A Technical Field Sales Rep plays a critical role in developing new business relationships with mid-market and enterprise level clients in IT material hardware, Software solutions, professional IT services and managed services solutions. This a "hunter" role that will utilize your skills in identifying and developing sales opportunities with new logos, establishing and building long term relationships as well as relying on your technical expertise in understanding complex IT business problems and how the products and services you sell solve specific business problems. This role comes with consistent travel to meet with clients in person.

* Responsibilities*

  • Identify and developing potential mid-market and enterprise level customers
  • Create and maintain a consistent pipeline by leveraging opportunities, quotes, deal registrations, renewals, etc.
  • Provide technical expertise on IT hardware, software and professional service solutions to solve specific business problems and demonstrate the technical aspects and values provided to customers
  • Maintain client organization with calendars, notes, CRM (ConnectWise), opportunities, quotes, etc.
  • Focus efforts on cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to existing accounts
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of CR-T's service offerings
  • Consistent travel to visit potential and existing clients to build and maintain relationships
  • Achieve personal sales quotas and weekly/quarterly goals

* Qualifications*

  • Sales Hunter -- demonstrated experience in acquiring new logos at the mid-market and enterprise levels
  • Technical expertise with IT hardware and software solutions, professional services and staff augmentation solutions as well as managed services offerings
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • High energy and drive, with good negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast--moving environment

* Recommended Experience*

  • 5+ years of sales or consulting experience
  • BA/BS, preferred but not required

Nice to have

  • Technical sales certifications
  • Experience working through vendor sales strategies
