Duties:

  • Manage the Global Command Center (GCC) supervisors (Server, Network, Storage, Major Incident Management, Strategic Incident Management) in multiple geographical locations.

  • Provide daily updates to Major Incident Management Senior Manager and Director, Global Command Center.

  • Prepare and present ITIL metrics reports monthly to Senior Management.

  • Manage Global Command Center metrics, ensuring adherence to expectations (MTTR reduction, work request OLA’s, incident response, etc.).

  • Join and lead Major Incident Managers on P1/P2 incidents as needed, providing technical guidance and engaging Engineering leads where needed.

  • Ensure that Supervisors are properly trained and follow all processes, procedures and standards.

  • Responsible for release management team which coordinates all nightly scheduled production releases.

  • Requires broad technical expertise and extensive company/industry knowledge.

  • This position requires daily in-office attendance.

  • Assists subordinates in defining and achieving goals.

  • Accountable for team performance and results.

  • Manages professional employees and/or supervisors.

  • Adapts plans and priorities based on resource and operational challenges.

  • Manages performance appraisals and pay reviews.

  • Manages hiring and termination actions.

  • Resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems.

  • May take part in solving problems across a matrix.

  • Ensures effective communication with internal stakeholders.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic required, ability to work outside of standard business hours.

  • 7-10 years of overall experience in related field.

  • General knowledge of servers, networks, storage, proxy and VDI.

  • Ability to assemble teams of stakeholders to deliver effective and timely decisions (engineering, business teams, database administration teams, etc.).

  • Excellent resource management skills, uses time effectively and plans beyond current needs and requirements.

  • Ability to identify gaps/weakness in processes and provide policy recommendations to GCC Director.

  • Excellent ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.

  • Excellent English telecommunication, written and oral skills.

  • Adapts quickly to changes in work assignments, schedules, and priorities.

  • Be able to effectively multi-task and manage high-stress situations.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with leaders in all levels of the company, including SVP/CIO level.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $70,224- $91,200.
