Key Responsibilities:

• Provide federal tax compliance and consultation services to industry-specific clients as a vital member of the engagement team

• Develop relationships with a diverse client base, providing daily tax advice

• Support technical affairs and special projects across various corporate and individual taxation domains, accounting methods, and ASC740

• Research various tax matters, respond to tax authority inquiries, and suggest potential strategies for client consideration

• Liaise with specialist tax practices on complex tax matters in areas like state and local taxes, international taxes, research and development, and more

• Manage client engagement staffing, handle collections and billings, and ensure meeting of financial targets

• Build strong relationships internally and externally, leveraging entrepreneurial abilities

• Invest in personal development, individually and through participation in company-wide learning programs

• Support the growth and development of staff through effective mentoring, helping them achieve their professional targets

• Maintain a work-life balance through friendships, social activities, and team outings

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related field. Advanced or Master’s degree is desirable.

• CPA, EA, or JD certification

• Five or more years' experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services environment

• Two or more years' of supervisory experience, with a focus on mentoring and advising associates

• Proven leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills

• The ability to lead and manage, provide excellent client service, exhibit commitment to continuous learning, and complete projects in a timely manner

• Advanced software expertise and Microsoft Suite skills
