Description

We are seeking a PART TIME Payroll Specialist for our client operations located in San Ramon, California, 94583, United States. This role involves processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees, managing new hires and terminations, and handling union and certified payroll reporting within the construction industry. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process weekly and bi-monthly payroll for up to 100 hourly and salaried employees.

• Handle new hires and terminations, ensuring all necessary documentation and procedures are followed.

• Conduct audits on time entries and obtain necessary approvals for payroll processing.

• Manage the entry of payroll data into the in-house system and ensure its accuracy.

• Oversee the disbursement of payroll to employees.

• Handle union and certified payroll reporting, ensuring all reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.

• Utilize various accounting software systems to manage payroll and related functions.

• Perform various accounting functions as necessary, including 401k - RRSP administration.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Intacct in the performance of duties.

• Manage payroll for under 100 employees, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Handle any payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
