Job Title: Field SuperintendentJob Description
A Field Superintendent oversees and manages all aspects of on-site construction operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
Maintain safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Coordinate daily schedules of workers, materials, and equipment.
Communicate progress, issues, and changes with project managers and clients.
Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to safety regulations.
Resolve any on-site issues or delays in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
5-10+ years of experience in the construction industry.
3+ years as a superintendent with experience in the field.
Familiar with general contracting and a wide variety of projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with prison work, educational facilities, or community colleges is a plus.
Work Environment
This position involves working on-site at a former prison turned rehabilitation center. The role requires being in the office and on-site 5 days a week, with some flexibility for remote or hybrid work under certain circumstances. Project engineers are expected to spend more time in the office.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
