Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our non-profit team in San Marcos. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations and supporting our mission to serve the community.

Responsibilities:

· Process and manage incoming payments, invoices, and credits

· Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient financial operations

· Communicate with customers and vendors in a professional and friendly manner

· Support annual audits and financial reporting

Requirements

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

· 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy

· Passion for working in a non-profit environment and supporting the community

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with accounting software and databases

· Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations

· Certification in accounting or a related field
