Responsibilities

In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center philosophy, the Interventional Cardiology Registered Nurse is an experience practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing, patient care and the ability to practice independently. Also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluate the results of these interventions for a given patient population.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently working in ICU, ER, or Cath Lab or within the last 2 years.

• Critical Care nursing experience required, primarily in cardiovascular nursing.

• Currently licensed by the State of California as a Registered Nurse.

• Current BLS certification.

• Current ACLS.

• Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cath Lab Experience Preferred

• Angiographic experience desired.

Pay Range

$46.79 - $69.82 /hour
