General Description

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities, programs and projects to ensure that programs benefit, and project goals are accomplished within the defined scope, time, budget and quality parameters established.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with individual HR functions to understand business processes and needs in order to help shape technology to support HR operations.

  • Acts as HR Liaison with the Technology team.

  • Influence technical solutions by leveraging and maximizing current and future technology investments.

  • Responsible for the oversight, management and completion of strategic programs and projects related to Human Resources and HR Technology.

  • Understands, gather information and create BRDs detailing functional requirements of the projects for IT team, Evertec and external vendors.

  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, maintains project documentation, plans and reports, monitors and summarizes progress of programs and related projects.

  • Acts as the point of contact and communicate program and projects status adequately to all participants.

  • Responsible for leading projects from initial planning, development and all implementation phases.

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Maintains and gives follow up to project teams, programmers and external consultants. Leads the work of others.

  • Understand requirements and how they translate in application features and collaborate with the team to set specifications for new applications; this includes evaluating existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.

  • Develop and suggest process and performance improvements.

  • Perform data analysis on existing operations to measure and report on quality and productivity.

  • Create and evolve dashboards used in reporting and ad hoc analyses for easy synthesis of data to provide informed recommendations

  • Assist in the creation of presentation material by tying logical aspects of the story together with graphics, charts, and verbiage.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but usually may lead the work of others.

    Education

    Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Technology, Industrial or Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Business Administration.

    Experience

    At least seven (7) years of experience in project management, and 5 (five) years of experience in projects related to Information Technology systems design, installation, configuration, maintenance, operations and Data Infrastructure (Datawarehouses, Data Marts, ETLs).

    Skills

  • Excellent desktop software skills – MS Office Suite, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio.

  • High energy and ability to work both independently and across multiple teams in very fast growth environment.

  • Excellent communication (English and Spanish written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in managing deadlines, scope and budgets.

  • Excellent time management skills.

    PMI Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Certification

    PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certification

    Lean Six Sigma Certification

    Other Licenses

    Certified Scrum Master

    Certified Product Manager (CPM)

    ITIL Processes Certification
