Liberty Latin America Business Analyst - Commercial Growth Programs and Execution in San Juan, Puerto Rico

What´s the role?

As a Business Analyst you will be an essential asset to the CG&E team, focusing on solving complex problems using quantitative methods. They apply analytical tools to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Their expertise in data analysis and problem-solving significantly supports engagement success. By delivering data-driven recommendations, they ensure effective and efficient project outcomes.

How can you add value?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Build effective business cases with analytical software and tools including the development of financial and quantitative models.

  • Conduct research on specific topics and apply it in support of engagement requirements.

  • Explain and review analysis/findings with team members and client personnel.

  • Help to develop communications (both in written and in presentation formats) that convey ideas and recommendations in a clear and convincing way.

  • Identify implications of proposed solutions on people, processes, technology, strategy, and structure.

  • Demonstrate and ensures compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America's policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.

  • Other functions may be assigned.

What do you need?

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree required in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration

2 -5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement and/or equivalent experience

Other qualifications:

  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Quantitative, Conceptual and Analytical Thinking.

  • Problem Solver - Capacity to apply knowledge and skills to solve complex problems.

  • Understanding of Business KPIs and Forecasting with the ability to translate business needs into data-driven insights.

  • Great Teammate- Ability to build and manage relationships effectively with team and clients.

  • High self-motivation for learning, and setting and achieving challenging goals.

  • Compelled to excel and succeed in every task at hand.

  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, results-oriented environment.

  • Proficient in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), Excel, SQL, and database management systems.

  • Skilled in PowerPoint and Word, with additional knowledge in statistical simulation and optimization software being a plus.
