We are seeking a skilled Data and Analytics Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and implement cloud-based analytics platforms and data pipelines. This role involves acquiring, cleansing, transforming, and publishing data from diverse sources to build large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based data analytics platforms and pipelines.

• Acquire, cleanse, transform, and publish data from various sources.

• Assemble large, complex data sets that fulfill functional and non-functional business needs.

• Collaborate with data asset managers, architects, and development leads to ensure alignment with architecture blueprints and data quality.

• Contribute to and leverage coding standards and best practices for efficient and reusable services and components.

• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements

Job Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Cloud Platforms: Experience with GCP or Azure. AWS experience is acceptable if the candidate is willing to transition.

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Go, Scala, or Java.

• Database Management: Experience with various databases and Big Data technologies.

• Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux and shell scripting.

• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform.

• CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.

• Logging and Monitoring: Experience with observability tools for logging and monitoring.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and testing frameworks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills.

• 70% hands-on technical work.
