EXOS Program Manager in San Jose South, California

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

We're seeking a Program Manager to lead our fitness center. As our new Program Manager you will:

  • Hire, train, and supervise qualified staff

  • Develop, deliver and evaluate health promotion, incentive, and other specialty programs

  • Achieve short- and long-term program goals in accordance with annual strategic planning

  • Generate reports and manage budget

  • Establish and maintain a sound, proactive relationship with client liaison

  • Perform fitness assessments, determine exercise prescriptions and conduct first workouts

  • Service diverse populations, including high risk exercise participants

  • Supervise and monitor exercise areas

  • Oversee group exercise program and instruct classes

  • Other duties as required

The Ideal Candidate would have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology

  • 3 years of experience in a fitness environment

  • Prior experience leading group exercise classes

  • Management experience in a fitness environment

  • CPR/AED and First Aid certifications ( Nationally Accredited Certification preferred )

    Residents of California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $50,000/year to $90,000/year. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
