We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for leading the materials planning/management, and procurement while utilizing continuous improvement best practices and tools. This Supply Chain Manager reports to the Senior Plant Manager and is an onsite role in San Jose.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Procurement management, securing timely cost effective materials and negotiating supplier contracts, monitoring/reducing material costs; leading Dynamic Kanban (right-sizing)

  • Inventory Management at Gemba, maintaining inventory levels to avoid shortages/overstock

  • Supplier Management, facilitating smooth material flow collaborating with suppliers and production team and forecasting material needs

  • Daily management meetings ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards are consistently met, root cause analysis to drive problem resolution

  • Project Management support and Continuous improvement, implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency

  • Managing and coaching a team of Buyers, Production Planner, and Warehouse staff (7)

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Bachelors degree with 9+ years of experience Or Masters degree with 7+ years of experience in supply chain/materials management in manufacturing

  • 4+ years leadership experience and strong ability to mentor/develop a team

  • Proven agility influencing others cross functionally and effectively presenting to leaders and various stakeholders

  • 5+ years progressive experience in material/inventory planning including knowledge of low volume, high mix environment

  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement and implementing lean concepts/tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and Kaizen

  • Experience with ERP, preferably Oracle and proficient with Excel, PowerPoint

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Understanding of production flow principles and processes

  • Strong Project Management Skills

  • Problem-solving and solid business decision-making skills

The salary range for this role is $160,000 – $175,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
