Job Title: Racking Technician

Job Type: Full-time; Contract (12 months)

Location: San Jose, CA 95131

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Pay Rate: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Job Description

The Racking Technician will set up, operate, and maintain racking stations, securing aluminum pieces efficiently to ensure quality anodizing and production flow. Team collaboration and cross-department support are essential.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

• Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into fixtures.

• Lay out, fit, or connect parts, calculating measurements as needed.

• Adjust controls or stop machines to correct issues.

• Position and secure jigs, fixtures, and guides on machines.

• Transfer components and assemblies using moving equipment.

• Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment for efficient operation.

• Prepare metal surfaces using hand tools like grinders and drills.

• Record operational or production data.

• Remove products from production equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2 years of experience

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
