TEKsystems Intake Coordinator in San Jose, California

Description:

Roles and Responsibilities.

Preparing and maintaining patient charts.

Verifying medical insurance coverage and benefits for each patient.

Completing all admissions paperwork and entering it digitally.

Handle patient registration

Set up patient files and enter patient info received via fax

Confirming who is referring patients in

Run insurance coverage through the portal

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

EPIC is highly preferred due to expediting the training process

At least 2 years of patient intake or medical office administration experience

Working knowledge of office management and filing systems.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Great communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient computer literacy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
