Description

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Controller to oversee our financial and accounting operations in San Jose, California. This role involves managing accounting records, evaluating budgets, defining internal audit procedures, and conducting regular fiscal inventories. The successful candidate will also ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles, manage fiscal and regulatory compliance, and drive financial performance towards cost-effectiveness and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the financial and accounting activities of the company

• Regularly analyze budgets and oversee the integrity of bookkeeping and financial systems

• Evaluate economic trends, cost efficiency, revenues, and ensure optimal allocation of resources

• Define internal control systems, develop financial reports and guarantee report accuracy

• Conduct regular financial inventories, develop financial outlooks and forecast fiscal requirements

• Develop and drive effective financial strategies, monitor key operational metrics, and improve financial systems

• Coordinate management and employees in implementing cost-effective strategies and plant-wide efficiency initiatives

• Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, invoices, proposals, etc., as required

• Manage the preparation and execution of the plant's budgets and business plans in alignment with set objectives

• Inventory, and Annual Standard Cost.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with CETEC prefered

• Proficient in using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools.

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is necessary.

• Must be able to handle all Accounting Functions.

• Skilled in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in Auditing is a must.

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is required.

• Must be able to handle Month End Close tasks.

• Experience with Annual Inventory is necessary.

• Knowledge of Annual Standard Cost is crucial.
